Pregnant mommies can now receive Doula support through our certified Doula who is also a registered nurse!!!
A doula is a professional pregnancy companion whose goal is to help families have a safe, healthy and positive labor experience. Doulas provide emotional, physical, and educational support to expecting mothers or those who have recently given birth. Doulas offer encouragement, advice, and comfort to new mothers. They stay with the mother throughout labor and perform “Virtual” home visits after the baby is born.
Doulas are not medical professionals, and the following tasks are not performed by doulas: They do not perform clinical tasks such as vaginal exams, deliver baby, or fetal heart monitoring. They do not give medical advice or diagnose conditions. They do not make decisions for the client (medical or otherwise)
